With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our beloved Chairman of the Chelsea Community Church Board of Trustees: Brandi Ara Stanbury. Brandi was born in Brooklyn, the daughter of Cecilia Stanbury and Palmer Webb. She was preceded in death by her late husband Kenneth Gadsden.

She graduated from Richmond Hill High School in Queens in 2002, earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in Government from York College and her master's degree from John Jay College (CUNY).

Brandi was a dedicated Team Leader for the American Cancer Society for twenty years where she organized Team Members and Breast Cancer Walks in New York City.

Rest in Peace. We will miss your golden smile, leadership, kindness, humility and compassion.
